Corrosion-resistant sensor SPTW for measuring the pressure of even aggressive fluids

The sensor SPTW, a pressure transmitter from Festo for fluids and gases, can measure pressures between -1 and 100 bar. It is especially suitable for high-pressure pneumatics and monitoring the pressure of aggressive fluids.

Thanks to its stainless steel measuring cell and housing, the pressure transmitter offers high corrosion resistance to CRC4. All the interfaces are also made from stainless steel, which prevents the media being transported from coming into direct contact with the seals. As a result, the transmitter can also be used with aggressive media. The compact sensor SPTW measures both excess and low pressures at ambient temperatures between 0 and 80 degrees Celsius.

Protection to IP67 means that the pressure transmitter can be reliably used in harsh environments. It is also suitable for pressure sensing in circuits in small parts assembly and the electronics industry as well as for monitoring pressures in coolant and lubricant circuits in mechanical engineering.
