MOVILINK® interfaces control drives from SEW-EURODRIVE – independent of the fieldbus used. The module supports many other features besides configurable baud rates and operating mode.
Uniform and efficient automation environment without system discontinuity: WAGO’s new drive interface allows MOVILINK® drives to be easily integrated into the flexible and robust WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 767. The new interface permits fast and reliable transmission of all relevant process data (e.g., speed, torque, frequency, amperage and active current) wherever stringent IP67 protection standards are required. Connecting up to eight drives to one single module saves installation time and space, while eliminating costs for additional hardware. The fieldbus-independent MOVILINK® Module enables access to the most common fieldbus systems (e.g., ETHERNET, PROFINET and sercos), while providing major protocols for communication with higher-level systems. Four additional digital inputs and outputs for sensors and actuators also provide major benefits for your automation applications. The channels of the two double-assigned M12 connectors can be configured either as inputs or outputs.
Configurable as an IP20 system with IP67 protection
The module supports channel-by-channel configuration and can be used in the direct vicinity of machines or processes without the need for control cabinets just like SPEEDWAY modules – adjacent to sensors and actuators: SPEEDWAY modules can be arranged at a distance of up to 50 m from each other, expanding the overall system to up to 500 m. The module’s multiple features can be easily tailored to your requirements either via fieldbus-dependent (GSD, GSDML, EDS and SDDML device description files) or fieldbus-independent parameterization (FDT/DTM). Furthermore, the module allows you to continuously monitor diagnostic information: Overtemperature for single channels or module’s short-circuit/undervoltage are indicated via LEDs on the control, configuration and module’s side.
