Bachmann electronic, providers of global industrial automation solutions, debut their latest analog signal processing for safety applications at the SPS Nuremberg 2019. With the SAI205 module, different analogue signals are reliably detected and safely processed in the modular Bachmann M1 control system. The highest accuracy enables tight security and maximal productivity.
The SAI205 module provides highly reliable measurement of standard signals, such as 4-20mA, PT100/PT1000 and strain gauges. With 16-bit resolution and the highest accuracy, detection of a wide variety of physical parameters such as pressure, temperature, distance or mechanical stresses make safety compact devices obsolete. Pluggable anywhere to the M1 control system, it increases design flexibility and reduces error sources by configuring or programming at one point.
With 1 ms synchronized sampling rate, all values are accessibile to the conventional CPU. No additional detection modules are required for sophisticated signal processing and fast control. Because all sensor values are available in the central CPU, higher level systems, such as SCADA, MES or Cloud easily network, visualize or transmit safety signals.
