ABB launches the new CP-S.1 range of primary switched-mode 24V DC power supplies that combine efficiency and reliability with an unmatched performance-to-space ratio.
With an efficiency of up to 94 percent, the CP-S.1 24/40.0 power supply can save 1.4 tons of CO 2 over a service life of ten years – compared to a device with an efficiency of 92 percent. This corresponds to the same amount of CO 2, which is needed to charge 160,000 smartphones. The new product series also offers an unrivaled power-to-space ratio – with space savings of up to 50 percent – and thanks to its high efficiency and low power loss it is a cost-saving power supply solution for large-scale applications.
The integrated power reserve of the CP-S.1 offers an available power peak of up to 150 percent for five seconds, which means that even high loads can be switched reliably. The certified AC and DC input voltage range is suitable for worldwide installation and has extensive global approvals.
