Moxa, a specialist in industrial communications and networking, will show at SPS 2026 how companies can make their OT networks more resilient while making them easier to manage, operate and modernize.
Manufacturers have to keep increasingly complex communication networks running reliably and securely, often with small technical teams. At the same time, cybersecurity requirements keep growing. To meet this challenge, Moxa is bringing a broad portfolio of products designed to meet the requirements of IEC 62443-4-2: switches, device servers, next-generation firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, serial-to-Ethernet gateways and remote I/O. They help companies put in place the technical cybersecurity measures required by the NIS2 Directive and prepare for the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Pairing rugged, long-lasting devices with centralized network management reduces the effort needed to configure, operate, maintain and upgrade OT infrastructure.
Future-ready networks for small and mid-sized manufacturers
One of the highlights is the RKS-G4000-PL (Premium Level) Series, a fanless rackmount switch. It offers up to twelve fixed 10GbE SFP+ ports, which Moxa says is the most of any industrial switch on the market. Its LAN and power modules are hot-swappable, so they can be replaced without taking the network down. With IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 certification, 10 Gbps MACsec encryption and Secure Boot, it makes it easier to build resilient networks aligned with NIS2.
Moxa is also presenting the NPort 6600-G2 Series device servers, built on a secure-by-design architecture and certified to IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2. Secure Boot, role-based authentication and data-flow protection let users extend the life of existing serial infrastructure while meeting current cybersecurity requirements. A live demo at the booth will show the browser-based diagnostic tool. The tool displays serial and Ethernet traffic sorted by port without any extra software, so issues can be located within minutes. This helps keep the network available and cuts the time spent on troubleshooting and maintenance. Because Moxa uses its own in-house chip, it guarantees ten years of product availability.
Security and simplicity down to the field level
The new ioLogik 1400 Ethernet remote I/O platform is designed to connect sensors, actuators and other field devices to the industrial network simply and securely. Its compact design, with high I/O density, front wiring and push-in terminals, simplifies planning, commissioning and maintenance. It has been developed in line with IEC 62443-4-1 and includes security functions in accordance with IEC 62443-4-2, such as Secure Boot and secure user and firmware management. Two Ethernet ports with RSTP support provide high availability. A wide operating temperature range and ATEX and C1D2 certifications allow it to be used in demanding industrial environments.
Centralized management and protection for large networks
For larger installations, Moxa will show how its managed switches, secure routers and firewalls work together under a single management platform. The demo focuses on centralized management, full network visibility, segmentation and protected communications, all key aspects of implementing NIS2 in OT environments.
The MXview One platform lets users monitor, manage and configure industrial networks centrally from a web browser. This means technical teams can handle larger networks with less effort. A dynamic topology view shows the real-time status of connections and redundancy. The platform also automatically discovers and displays network devices and SNMP/IP devices across subnets. Reports, event notifications, detailed device information and visibility of redundant LAN links give a complete overview of the installation at all times.
The EDS-4000/G4000 Series Layer 2 managed switches combine industrial-grade reliability, redundancy and extensive security features to build complete Gigabit networks aligned with IEC 62443-3-3 Security Level 2. They are certified to IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 and hold approvals including NEMA TS2, EN 50121-4, IEC 61850-3/IEEE 1613 Class 1, DNV, ATEX and Class I Division 2. Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain redundancy technologies restore the network in under 50 ms.
Finally, the EDR Series secure industrial routers combine firewall, VPN, routing and switching in a single device. They allow users to segment industrial networks and provide secure remote access to critical devices.
