Applied Motion Products launches the MDX+ Integrated Servo Series, a range of low-voltage servo systems that combine a servo drive, motor, and encoder into a single unit. The MDX+ series replaces the current MDX lineup with enhancements such as improved motor design for greater density and reduced heat output, while providing broader options with power outputs of 100/200/400/550/750W.
It accommodates I/O control techniques (Pulse/Direction, CW/CCW, encoder following), RS-485, CANopen, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT. It still complies with today’s industrial safety standards by providing electromagnetic brakes and Safety Torque Off (STO). The MDX+ series serves as an excellent option for manufacturers in logistics, AGV, medical, semiconductor, and solar sectors, among various others
The MDX+ Integrated Servo Series is designed to be small and compact, providing a smaller yet equally capable solution compared to stand-alone motor and drive systems. It is ideal for applications with limited installation space, and its form factor is at least 20% smaller than that of standalone solutions.
The MDX+ servo drive is configured by Luna Software and is meant to assist users with tuning and troubleshooting the MDX+ family. The software and the drive are connected via USB for fast and reliable communication.
