KEBA at SPS 2026 in Nuremberg with the motto Creating automation solutions. Together.

KEBA will exhibit at SPS 2026 in Nuremberg from 24 to 26 November, at booth 470 in Hall 7. Under the motto “Creating automation solutions. Together.”, the Austrian automation specialist wants to show how machine and plant builders can move faster from a first idea to a productive solution. The focus is on the open Kemro X platform, end-to-end engineering tools and new digital solutions for simulation, diagnostics and AI-supported development.

Kemro X as the common platform

At the centre of the booth stands Kemro X, KEBA’s open and modular automation platform. It combines controls, drives, motors, HMIs and software, and it is open to third-party integration. Thanks to standardised interfaces, users can extend the Kemro X Runtime with their own software modules and external applications. In addition, application examples and a virtual production line show how hardware and software can be combined freely and how existing systems are integrated.

Trade fair highlights

  • Integrated robotics: Kemro X and KeMotion run robots and machines on a single control basis, which supports seamless processes and data-based maintenance.
  • KeSafe safety technology: hardware and software for the safe operation of machines and robots according to current standards.
  • KeDrive D3 Smart DC Systems: energy storage and peak shaving in the drive system to optimise energy flows, cut grid connection costs and raise machine availability.
  • KeDrive D3-AC: an all-in-one multi-axis unit with up to three servo controllers, line filters and braking resistors in one device.
  • KeTop T135 and KeTop Safe Wireless: compact mobile and wireless HMIs compatible with PROFINET and PROFIsafe.
  • Digitalization and AI: a 360° portfolio covering planning, operation and ongoing optimisation of machines and plants.
  • Virtual 3D Showroom: an online tour of KEBA products and applications.

KeDrive D3-AC: fewer components in the cabinet

For machine modules with only a few axes, the KeDrive D3-AC deserves a closer look. Because it integrates up to three servo axes together with filters and braking resistors, it needs less space and less wiring. According to KEBA, it also delivers up to 15% more performance.

New format: KEBA Learning Hub

For the first time, KEBA runs a Learning Hub at its booth. Visitors can join expert talks and crash courses in small, interactive groups, each lasting 30 to 45 minutes. Places are limited, so registration is required on the KEBA website.

Session Topic Time English session
Waste no energy. Power machines intelligently. Energy flows, braking energy reuse, peak shaving 09:30–10:00 25 Nov
AI Crash Course From raw image data to an AI vision application in 30 minutes 10:30–11:15 25 Nov
From prompt to production How AI changes automation engineering and diagnostics 14:00–14:30 25 Nov
CRA Insights The way to a CRA-ready machine 15:00–15:30 German only

Each session runs on all three fair days; the remaining dates are held in German.

Why it matters for engineers

KEBA’s message is less about single products and more about shorter engineering times. For machine builders, the open runtime means they can keep their own code and add third-party software instead of starting over. Meanwhile, the drive topics address energy costs directly, a growing concern for plants with many axes. Finally, the CRA session is useful for any OEM who must prepare machines for the EU Cyber Resilience Act.
