WAGO will present its automation portfolio at SPS 2026 in Nuremberg under the motto “OPEN. For Smart Industry Solutions.” Instead of a pure product show, the company groups its stand around everyday problems in plants and machines: downtime, unused data, energy costs, cybersecurity and changing requirements. Among the highlights are an engineering assistant for PLC programmers and a robot that mounts components on DIN rails.

WAGO will be in Hall 7, Booth 130/230, from 24 to 26 November 2026.

Five focus areas on the stand

Focus area Topic
Boost your performance Diagnostics, automation and integrated security to cut unplanned downtime
Unlock your data Connectivity, edge technology and visualization to turn data into insight
Control your energy Monitoring and analysis of energy consumption across production
Secure your processes Security concepts for connected production and new compliance rules
Stay flexible Open solutions that adapt to new requirements and protect existing investments

WAGO PLC Agent for programmers

The PLC Agent is aimed at PLC programmers and system integrators. It helps with recurring engineering tasks by supplying relevant information and targeted code suggestions. As a result, WAGO expects less programming effort and faster development. In practice, the tool targets the routine part of PLC work, so programmers can spend more time on the application logic.

Assembling Bot for panel building

On the production side, the WAGO Assembling Bot automates the mounting of components on DIN rails. Consequently, panel builders can standardize the process, keep quality consistent and free skilled workers from repetitive manual work.

Security, visualization and power

In addition, three more product topics complete the stand:

  • Cybersecurity: WAGO shows how to build security into the whole automation concept with certified products. One example is the Compact Controller 100, certified to IEC 62443. The controller runs a real-time Linux system, can be programmed with CODESYS or with Node-RED, Python and C++, and supports Docker.
  • Visualization and Control Hub: presents production and energy data in one place, so users can see processes, consumption and system status and react faster.
  • Power supply systems: scalable power supplies designed to improve availability and give more transparency over the supply side of the cabinet.

Why it matters for engineers

The common thread is openness. According to Franco Polo, Vice President System Sales at WAGO, this means relying on established standards, connecting different systems and working closely with customers on solutions that stay flexible. For integrators, the practical result is a mix of tools that cover the full chain: engineering with the PLC Agent, cabinet assembly with the Assembling Bot, and operation with secure controllers, data visualization and energy monitoring.

Furthermore, the IEC 62443 certification of the Compact Controller 100 helps machine builders who must prove security compliance to their customers.
