The COPA-DATA Group finished the 2024 financial year with earnings of €99 million and a growth rate of 14 percent, further consolidating its global market presence. In the CEE/ME region, COPA-DATA reached outstanding revenues of €10.2 million, reflecting a notable 25 percent rise from the prior year. A crucial factor in this achievement was the energy industry.

The main catalyst for growth in 2024 was the “Twin Transition” – concurrent ecological and digital transformation. COPA-DATA has placed special emphasis on renewable energy, where the need for solutions in sustainable energy generation, effective transmission, distribution, and storage has notably risen. The zenon software platform is essential for enhancing industrial processes and facilities, allowing companies to lower energy usage and boost efficiency. This not only reduces the carbon footprint but also results in lasting decreases in operational expenses. In its role as an Associate Partner of the World Economic Forum (WEF), COPA-DATA played a vital part in the Industry Net Zero Accelerator Initiative in 2024, utilizing its knowledge to promote climate neutrality. As a component of this initiative, the success narrative with Carlsberg was released, highlighting how zenon assists multinational companies in meeting their ambitious climate objectives.

COPA-DATA also achieved notable success in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors. Considering the stringent regulatory demands for modular and validation-compliant production methods in this industry, COPA-DATA aids businesses in automating these procedures while maintaining the utmost quality and safety standards.

“Our expansion illustrates that automation, digitalization, and sustainability are essential elements for the Twin Transition in the energy sector and manufacturing fields,” states Johannes Petrowisch, Managing Director of COPA-DATA CEE/ME. “By utilizing our no-code solutions that emphasize vendor independence and standardization, we deliver direct advantages to our clients, assisting them in becoming more resilient and managing the difficulties of a swiftly evolving world.”
