Precision Gearboxes for Active Exoskeletons
Among the exhibits is an exoskeleton. Nabtesco co-developed six actuators (consisting of a wave gear, electric motor, and position sensor) for the RISE student project at TU Berlin. Replicating a humanoid locomotion system at the highest level presents an enormous challenge – and can only be achieved with truly backlash-free and compact gearboxes.
Pan & Tilt System for Mobile Applications
The Pan & Tilt system demonstrates how precision, reliability, and safety can be guaranteed even in mobile applications. Two compact, backlash-free wave gear actuators ensure precise image stabilization and accurate target acquisition in moving objects. Thanks to its controller-independent design and high modularity, the system also offers users maximum flexibility.
Full Scalability up to 70,000 Nm
