WITTENSTEIN SP+ HIGH SPEED Generation 3 precision planetary gearbox with blue housing and output shaft

The WITTENSTEIN group will be at SPS – Smart Production Solutions in Nuremberg from 24 to 26 November 2026, exhibiting in Hall 4, Stand 4-221. Under the motto “Shaping the world of cybertronic motion. Together.”, the company will focus on system design, integration, digital intelligence and its next generation of cybertronic motion systems.

The idea behind the stand is that standardized platforms and customer-specific engineering work best together. By pairing a broad catalogue with application know-how, WITTENSTEIN aims to help machine builders get more out of their designs in terms of performance, controllability and ease of integration.

SP+ HIGH SPEED Generation 3: around twice the usual continuous speed

The headline product is the third generation of the SP+ HIGH SPEED precision gearbox, part of the alpha Advanced Line. According to WITTENSTEIN, it runs at continuous speeds roughly double the current market standard, while also offering better controllability and a clearly improved thermal behavior.

For machine builders, this translates into more compact machines, more capable drive trains, higher output and greater operating reliability. The manufacturer’s point is that the gain is not limited to the gearbox: the whole drive system benefits.

Galaxie GA: parallel-axis layouts with the hollow shaft intact

WITTENSTEIN galaxie is extending its Galaxie technology with the new GA series. An upstream spur gear stage allows a wide range of industrial motors and gearbox variants from the WITTENSTEIN portfolio to be attached in a compact way, and the modular concept also accepts coaxial or right-angle input stages.

Whatever input stage or motor connection is chosen, the hollow shaft of the Galaxie gearbox remains fully usable, so cables, media or other functional elements can still pass through the center. The series keeps the familiar strengths of the technology: high torque density, very high torsional rigidity and zero backlash.

cyber dynamic actuator R now in size 60

WITTENSTEIN cyber motor is adding a more powerful size 60 to its cyber dynamic actuator R servo actuators. This rounds off the stainless-steel cyber dynamic motor range first shown at the previous SPS. The new size delivers up to 64 Nm in a compact housing that is easy to integrate.

Like the smaller sizes, it is offered in Standard, Inox and Hygienic Design versions, the latter rated up to IP69K at the cable outlet. Options include:

  • axial or radial cable outlet
  • integrated one- or two-stage gearbox
  • single-turn or multi-turn encoder
  • holding brake

All versions use single-cable technology and are aimed at demanding motion tasks in machines where installation space is tight.

IT security for production with baramundi software

Group member baramundi software will show how Unified Endpoint Management can be combined with Proactive Endpoint Operations. The result joins transparent, compliant and cyber-secure endpoint management with real-time performance monitoring, so that IT systems on the shop floor can be supervised and protected without interrupting operation.

SAFERTOS and the Cyber Resilience Act

WITTENSTEIN high integrity systems, part of WITTENSTEIN motion control GmbH, will present its safety real-time operating system SAFERTOS together with the Enhanced Security Module (ESM). The message is that cybersecurity and functional safety are no longer just engineering tasks. With regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), companies must also document how their software has been developed, verified and maintained over its entire life cycle.

SAFERTOS is used in industrial automation, automotive, aerospace, medical technology and rail, wherever embedded systems need deterministic and dependable behavior. Its Design Assurance Pack (DAP) supplies traceability, verification evidence and life-cycle artifacts that support certification, compliance and audits.

One group, several technologies

From drive technology and mechatronics to measurement, control and software, all of the group’s strategic business units will be represented at the Nuremberg stand with their mechatronic, cybertronic and digital products.
