At the upcoming SPS 2025 trade fair, Leuze will present the smallest safety laser scanner on the market, along with other innovations for industrial automation.
Leuze will showcase the new RSL 200 at SPS, the smallest safety laser scanner on the market designed to protect machines, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and robots. Thanks to its compact size, it can be easily integrated even in confined spaces. Leuze’s team of sensor experts will also present more than 20 innovative solutions from the world of precision sensor technology and reliable safety technology at their redesigned booth.
New this year: Four daily expert talks at the Leuze booth. These talks will focus on current industry topics such as the new Machinery Directive, automatic identification solutions (RFID, 1D and 2D codes), safety in automation, and innovative integrated solutions.

Innovations: From LiDAR to RFID
In addition to the RSL 200, with dimensions of just 80 x 80 x 86 millimeters, the new products Leuze is showcasing at its booth include the ROD 100, ROD 300, and ROD 500 series precision laser scanners. These LiDAR-enabled devices detect contours with high efficiency and can be used for collision protection in automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Those looking for flexible RFID readers for production and logistics will also find them here, as Leuze presents its new and powerful RDU 500i series UHF RFID readers. These operate in the ultra-high frequency band and are particularly well-suited for logistics, conveyor lines, and production lines.
