How to Communicate and Transmit Data Between the HMI (DOP-3S07S3E2) and Omron (NX1P2) Using EtherNet/IP Implicit Messaging
EtherNet/IP is the name of the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) implemented on top of the Ethernet standard (IEEE802.3 and TCP/IP protocol suite). EtherNet/IP was launched in 2001 and is currently the most established and comprehensive industrial Ethernet network solution for manufacturing automation. EtherNet/IP is subdivided into explicit and implicit messaging, and this chapter primarily explains implicit messaging.
