The Push-X product line is expanding: Phoenix Contact is adding new XT 1.5 terminal blocks to the series, accommodating conductor cross-sections from 0.34 to 2.5 mm².
Previously, the Push-X terminal blocks were offered with a nominal cross-section of 2.5 mm², suitable for connecting conductors ranging from 0.5 to 4 mm².
The updated XT 1.5 series features feed-through, multi-conductor, dual-level, PE, and PV terminal blocks. The XT 1.5 terminal blocks feature all the benefits of Push-X technology, allowing tool-free connections of both rigid and flexible conductors without the need for ferrules, plus a factory-pre-tensioned contact spring for exceptionally easy plugging.
The push button, which is orange, simplifies the process of releasing and pre-tensioning the spring. Enhanced safety is guaranteed through the distinct identification of the conductor connection with the force-guided actuating component and the audible click sound upon the release of the spring. Featuring a nominal current of 17.5 A and a nominal voltage of 500 V, the XT 1.5 terminal blocks are perfect for both manual and automated wiring tasks
