SEW-EURODRIVE will be present at HANNOVER MESSE showcasing intelligent drive systems, innovative automation technologies, and sustainable solutions, along with smart services for the factory of the future.
SEW-EURODRIVE returns to HANNOVER MESSE in 2026 with its digital spaceship, embarking on an expedition into the future of drive and automation technology. This year, the company will be located at booth C68 in hall 13. Visitors will be able to take a virtual journey through exhibits arranged in a planetary formation.
“All journeys begin in our Mission Control Center, at the heart of our booth,” explains Torben Halama, Head of Corporate Communications at SEW-EURODRIVE. “From here, visitors take control of the digital spaceship and the moving exhibits displayed on the various planets,” he adds. This creative approach offers fresh perspectives on the world of customized and sustainable technologies, software-defined automation—using, for example, the new management tool OrchestrationSuite—and AI-powered solutions.
SEW-EURODRIVE integrates Brazil as a partner country
SEW-EURODRIVE has had a presence in South America’s largest country since 1978. Therefore, Brazil, this year’s partner country at HANNOVER MESSE, will play a prominent role in SEW-EURODRIVE’s presentation at the trade fair. “At our booth, we are showcasing typical Brazilian industries and relevant applications, such as a sugarcane press, a cable car drive system, a bakery product dosing system, and a coffee bag conveyor system,” explains Torben Halama.
A world of discovery with moving models and DriveResearch
Under the umbrella of “DriveResearch,” SEW-EURODRIVE experts work in specialized research groups, in collaboration with universities and other higher education institutions, on the technological foundations of future products and solutions. Visitors to the company’s stand will be able to interact and discover how the Bruchsal-based drive systems specialist ensures the successful integration of basic research and technology and product development.
New focus for SEW-EURODRIVE: robotics
Another key focus for SEW-EURODRIVE at the trade fair is robotics. The drive systems and automation specialist will use various example applications to showcase its strengths in this growing market. Innovative solutions for delta and articulated-arm robots will be on display, allowing visitors to see firsthand how the company’s extensive product portfolio provides all the necessary components to develop and supply complete and innovative solutions for robotics technology.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a Maintenance Tool
SEW-EURODRIVE is increasingly using artificial intelligence in various areas. At HANNOVER MESSE, a wide range of applications and case studies will show visitors how this family-owned company uses its proprietary AI solutions to accelerate and simplify the commissioning of production lines, optimize production processes, and offer customers more personalized support.
One particularly noteworthy solution is DriveRadar®, which uses AI to continuously analyze status data and employs algorithms to identify patterns that indicate malfunctions. This allows maintenance needs to be detected at an early stage, before production downtime occurs.
Daily presentations, open discussions, and an award-winning booth design
Daily presentations and open roundtables complete the SEW EURODRIVE program at HANNOVER MESSE 2026. Last year, the futuristic design of the SEW-EURODRIVE booth earned ET Global, the company responsible for its creation, both the prestigious German Design Award and the Galaxy Award. This is reason enough for SEW-EURODRIVE to use this successful concept again.
This also means that Torben Halama is even more excited about the upcoming trade fair. “We are confident that, once again, we will be one of the main attractions for visitors to HANNOVER MESSE 2026. We look forward to inviting visitors to our booth, which covers an area of more than 1,800 square meters in Hall 13, to embark on an exciting journey into the future of automation,” he emphasizes.
