Phoenix Contact will present pioneering technologies for industrial automation at this year’s SPS – Smart Production Solutions, taking place from November 25 to 27 in Nuremberg. The company’s presence at the trade fair will focus on four key areas through which Phoenix Contact is shaping the future of industrial automation: PLCnext Technology, an open ecosystem for limitless automation; Automation & Safety, offering high-performance control and safety solutions for maximum plant availability; Digitization & Security, with holistic concepts for networked and protected production environments; and Power & Efficiency, with intelligent solutions for power supply and energy management.
A particular highlight at the trade fair is the new Virtual PLCnext Control, a fully software-based control solution – flexibly deployable in virtualized environments and ideal for modern edge and cloud architectures. This opens up new options for scalable and resource-efficient automation solutions for Phoenix Contact.
